Say What!?!?! A Mom of 4 Boys!!! 

Yep, that's me!!! 

I can hardly believe it myself. 

I have been a mom for almost 20 years. And boy has it been an amazing ride. 

Has it been easy --- lol NO --- Have I made mistakes YES lots of them. 

Being the oldest of 3 girls I had no idea of how or what boys were like. Different that is for sure. Would I change it for the world - NO WAY!! 

These boys are my <3 heart and soul. 

Austin was born in 1996 and I was barely 19 years old. I was just married and all I wanted was a baby. Thinking back all I can tell myself is you were just a baby yourself. I look at Austin and pray everyday he does not make me a grandmother anytime soon. WHY, because he is not old enough to care for a baby.  Then I think how cool would it be if he did!! Is that wrong?  I did it and he has turned out to be an amazing young man. Austin has graduated from High School and is trying to find himself. He works 5 days a week and helps SO much with his little brothers and around the house. I really don't know what I would do without him. 

A year and a half later Cody came along and even though he or Austin won't say it they are Best Friends. And have been since the day Cody was born. Cody is a senior in high school this year. He excels in everything academic.  Keeps everyone laughing. Cody plans to attend college and will excel at what ever he does. He will be the one to go big!!! 

After Cody was born there father and I divorced and I swore I would never marry again or have any other children. Well --- I remarried and ---

In 2004 Brandon made his big entrance!!! With the first labor pain I had with him I am glad I did not hesitate. Went to the hospital and less then an hour he came!!! Mid wife did not even have time to put her scrubs completely on!! I should have know then what life was going to be like with him.  Starting at 3 months old he had ear infection after infection. From busted ear drums to 3 sets of tubes. At age 3 he we were told he had Asperger's Syndrome. (a form of austim) Brandon is homeschooled. Yes I homeschool him and work full time. Best thing for him. 

Just a few months after Brandon was born SURPRISE!!!! 

Derek was born in November 2005!! This boy!!! He is so much like Austin and Cody (i guess like me) but so much like his father. He wears his heart on the outside. His feelings get hurt so easy (just like i use to) but can get mad at the drop of a dime. He watches after Brandon even if Brandon doesn't want him too) He worries and loves his big brothers like he is the big brother. 

I miss them being little but love that they are older and independent. There are times when they just walk up and give me a hug or say love you mom! Times like that makes me think ---

Even though there have been lots of meltdowns theirs and mine I would do it all over again and again.
